Five minutes to make your contributions stick

Each day this week, write down five accomplishments.

It only takes five minutes. Don’t overthink it, just write five bullets.

Friday at 4:45p, take five minutes to summarize the week’s 25 accomplishments, then email it to your manager.

That's it.

Why is this useful?

  • Managers love to know what you're accomplishing. It helps us recognize your contributions and advocate for your initiatives

  • Demonstrates you're results focused. Getting things done is what matters.

  • Aligns priorities. This email is the perfect opportunity to confirm that your priorities are in sync with your leadership.

  • Develops communication skills. It's great practice to communicate a lot of information quickly and clearly.

Five minutes a day keeps you aligned and top of mind for your leadership. It’ll pay off!
